Here at Imecom, we’re working hard to continue adding support for popular IP-PBX, VoIP Gateway, and SIP trunking services to our virtual fax server and Fax over IP (FoIP) solutions. We’re pleased to announce that our FoIP solutions now support Cisco Unified Communication Manager for Small Business and Avaya IP Office.

Useit Fax Server includes support for the Brooktrout SR140 virtual fax board software technology from Dialogic and XCAPI virtual fax driver from TE-Systems. Theese IP fax drivers allow faxes to be sent and received over IP between the Useit Fax Server and your IP-PBX or VoIP Gateway, or directly with the SIP Provider. SR140 and XCAPI software support ITU T.38 protocol for real-time fax over IP as well as G.711 (Read more about T.38 vs. G.711).

The following represent minimum requirements for a successful FoIP deployment using Cisco CUCM for Small Business and Avaya IP Office.
